Support for Windows 10 officially ended on October 2025, which meant no more security updates, bug fixes, or technical support from Microsoft after that date. However you may have noticed on your PC you could be eligible for an extra year’s security update support? Check and see if you have the “Enrol now” being offered in the Windows Update section in your settings.
If you’re still using Windows 10, it is probably time to start considering your change to Windows 11.
Windows 11 offers enhanced security features, a modernized interface, and improved performance—especially on newer hardware. Before upgrading, make sure your device meets the minimum system requirements, such as a 64-bit processor and TPM 2.0. You can use the Microsoft’s PC Health Check tool to verify this compatibility.
Type in to your Search bar at the bottom of the screen the words, Windows Updates, to find Windows Updates in the settings page. There are links provided from this page for the PC Health Check but otherwise just visit the Microsoft support page which has the link. This checker will let you know if your computer is compatible for Windows 11.
